Chazown Experience Part 1: PAST EXPERIENCES

This is from Craig Groeschel’s book “Chazown”.  Define your vision, pursue your passion, live your life on purpose.  Here is a quote from page one of his book….”Here’s one more thing to think about:  the decisions you are making today are actually making the bed your will lie in while you wait to die.  Which is why I wrote the book.  To help you see your life differently, to see it the way your Creator saw it before you were born.  And to live it with purpose and passion.”

  • Everyone ends up somewhere
  • Few people end up somewhere on purpose

Where there is no vision, the people perish. Proverbs 29:18 KJV

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose.Romans 8:28 NIV

To help you begin to see God’s Chazown in your past experiences, you are going to create something unique: a personal timeline. It’s a big-picture overview of your past where you’ll:

  1. Identify people, events, and circumstances that have influenced your life significantly.
  2. Organize your personal timeline into chapters.
  3. Clarify the different themes and major lessons God has shown you as you look at your past.
